A few hours ago I added another rewrite rule to apache so that all requests for the main site are redirected here. The URL will only not have ~jac in it for probably one page, as all the links are hardcoded to be in my home directory ;)
The D version is now completely superior to the PHP version in every way. I've gotten the code/ directory up and running and it is already better than the PHP version. I'm probably going to look into getting libgit2 set up or something, but for now I'm parsing the output of git commands. This isn't entirely bad, as I'm using \0 as a delimiter in all cases possible.
At some point I'll make a proper showing of getting the content pushable to the new site. When that comes, I'll probably also retire the PHP version entirely as well. Currently it is still there, just all requests are rewritten away from it :)
